19/10/1900 Scientific revolution begins

German physicist Max Planck discovered his law of blackbody radiation. A blackbody is an idealized physical body which does not reflect any radiation. It only emits its own radiation. Planck's law describes a frequency of this radiation at a given temperature. He had to assume that radiation is emitted in small chunks, called quanta. This started the quantum revolution in physics.
