Gilah Yelin Hirsch, ; is a multi-disciplinary artist who works as a painter, writer, theorist, photographer, filmmaker and lecturer. Hirsch earned a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, 1967, and an MFA in Pictorial Arts from UCLA in 1970 and has held the position of Professor of Art at California State University, Dominguez Hills since 1973.
