Rotary - efficient milking routine

American dairyman, and later politician, Henry W. Jeffers invented the Rotolactor. It was a device which made possible to milk 1,680 cows in seven hours. It was a great rotating platform, looking like a marry-go-round. Fifty cows were milked and washed in just twelve and a half minutes. Similar machines in today’s milking industry are called rotary milking parlors.
