The Andaman Sea is a marginal sea of the eastern Indian Ocean separated from the Bay of Bengal by the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and touching Myanmar (Burma), Thailand, and the Malay Peninsula. Its southernmost end is defined by Breueh Island, an island just north of Sumatra.
