Recklinghausen II is one of the 299 single member constituencies used for the German parliament, the Bundestag. It is one of sixty four electoral districts in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The constituency elects one representative under the mixed member proportional representation (MMP) system. Under the current constituency numbering system, it is designated as constituency 122. It consists of the towns and cities of Marl, Datteln, Haltern, Herten and Oer-Erkenschwick, all located in the county of Recklinghausen.
