Selma Rainio was a Finnish missionary with the Finnish Missionary Society, the first Finnish medical missionary, who founded the Onandjokwe Hospital in Ondonga, Ovamboland. She also worked in the Engela Hospital. In Ovamboland, she was known as Kuku Selma ‘grandmother Selma’.
