Bear Lake State Park is a public recreation area of Idaho, USA, located along the north and eastern shore of Bear Lake in southern Bear Lake County near the border with Utah and Wyoming. The state park consists of two separate units: the north unit for day use and the east unit for day use and overnight camping with electrical hook-ups. Each unit provides a beach over 1 mile (1.6 km) in length and gradually sloping lake bottom that provides a large swimming area. Both units are popular destinations for summer water recreation. The park also provides winter access to the lake for runs of Bonneville cisco. The Bear Lake National Wildlife Refuge is located alongside the lake near the north unit.
