28/12/2005 Former top Enron accountant pleaded guilty

Former Enron accounting chief Richard Causey pleaded guilty to securities fraud for his role in the financial scandal that drove the energy company into bankruptcy in 2001. Causey agreed to testify against Kenneth Lay and Jeffrey Skilling in exchange for a 5 to 7-year prison term.
