08/12/1942 Architect of Detroit Albert Kahn dies at 73

Albert Kahn was the famous American industrial architect sometimes called architect of Detroit. He was born in a Jewish family in the Kingdom of Prussia and immigrated with his family to Detroit. Kahn's firm designed numerous army naval bases and buildings in Detroit for the United States government.
