20/12/1968 American author John Steinbeck dies at 66

John Steinbeck is widely known for his novels, such as Of Mice and Men or The Grapes of Wrath, for which he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize. In 1962, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature. He died in New York City, of heart disease and congestive heart failure.
