After Royal Bank of Scotland announced the biggest corporate losses in British history, the British banking shares in it fell over 67% in a single day. The shares in all other British banks also decreased substantially. The shares in Lloyds Banking Group collapsed by 33%, in Barclays by 10%, and in HSBC by 6%.
