The Nero Decree ordered the destruction of German infrastructure to prevent their use by Allied forces as they penetrated deep into Germany at the end of WWII. Albert Speer, Hitler's Minister of Armaments and War Production, was responsible for carrying the decree out. 42 days after issuing the order, Hitler committed suicide.
