Elizabeth I, known as The Virgin Queen, was the last monarch of the House of Tudor. She was the daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. Elizabeth I died at Richmond Palace. Subsequently, her coffin was taken to Westminster Abbey, to a tomb shared with her half-sister, Mary I.
