Gregory Alan Maddux, nicknamed "Mad Dog" and "The Professor", is an American former Major League Baseball pitcher. Maddux is best known for his accomplishments while playing for the Atlanta Braves and the Chicago Cubs. With the Braves, he won the 1995 World Series over the Cleveland Indians.
