Who Invented Frozen Food?

American inventor Clarence Birdseye patented a new system for commercial freezing. Its main part were two stainless steel belts carrying packaged fish, freezing the fish quickly. Birdseye came to the idea of food freezing as a trapper and biologist in Labrador. He noticed that fish and caribou meat frozen for months tasted as good as fresh food.
