Herbert York - Easy Solutions to One Problem Tend to Make Others Worse - 1984

Herbert York was a part-Mohawk nuclear physicist. He worked on the separation of uranium 235 as part of the Manhattan Project and later he became an expert on nuclear security, working for several U.S. government agencies. York was also the chief negotiator for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty of 1981 and served on the board of nonpartisan arms control organization “Council for a Livable World.”
