About Martin Gardner
Gardner is best known as an author of Mathematical Games column in the Scientific American magazine. He wrote it for 25 years, although he did not formally study mathematics or science. Gardner also published many popular science books. His other interests were literature, especially the writing of Lewis Carroll, and magic and illusion.
