APGAR Score - MEDZCOOL

She is known as the inventor of the Apgar score, a way to quickly assess the health of a child immediately after birth. It is determined by evaluating the baby on five simple criteria on a scale from zero to two, then summing up the five values thus obtained. Virginia Apgar was also a leading authority in the fields of anaesthesiology and teratology.
