The 1968 movement in Pakistan was a part of protest against the dictatorial regime of Ayub Khan that saw a mass upsurge of students and workers. The movement attracted people from every profession, from doctors to state engineers. From early November 1968 to the end of March 1969, the uprising in Pakistan involved some 10 to 15 million people. The movement ended up toppling the regime of Army dictator Ayub Khan.
