Brigitte Peterhans is a German American architect, born 27 August 1928 in Sulz am Neckar, Germany. Peterhans received her Diplom-Ingenieur in 1960 from the University of Stuttgart. Encouraged by Myron Goldsmith, she studied at the Illinois Institute of Technology as a Fulbright fellow (1956-1957) where she received her Master of Architecture in 1962.
