Cannabis—or marijuana—is currently legal in Canada only for medicinal purposes, under conditions outlined in the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) issued by Health Canada, and for seed, grain, and fibre production under licence by Health Canada.
