Music Industry Going Dark For 'Blackout Tuesday'!

Blackout Tuesday is a planned collective action by elements of the music industry to protest racism and police violence. A response to the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and others, it was initiated by Jamila Thomas and Brianna Agyemang from Atlantic Records. There are many ways music companies have chosen to participate with some like Nickelodeon going off-air for a period of time and others like MTV airing tributes like ‘I can’t breathe.’
