P. V. Sindhu

Pusarla Venkata Sindhu is an Indian professional badminton player. By winning the gold medal at the 2019 World Championships, Sindhu became the first Indian ever to become a world champion in badminton. Having made her international debut in 2009, she rose to a career high ranking of no. 2 in April 2017. Over the course of her career, Sindhu has won medals at numerous tournaments on the BWF circuit, including a silver medal at the 2016 Olympics which made her the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal as well as the first Indian to reach the Olympic final in badminton.


Susi Susanti

Lucia Francisca Susy Susanti is a retired Indonesian badminton player. Relatively small of stature, she combined quick and graceful movement with elegant shotmaking technique, and rates among the most successful players in the history of the women's game. Sometimes her name is also spelled Susi Susanti. She's the first Indonesian Olympic Gold Medalist and the only Indonesian woman athlete to win it.


Praveen Jordan

Praveen Jordan is an Indonesian badminton player who specialises in doubles. He has played for the badminton club PB. Djarum since 2008. In 2013, he caught the attention of world badminton when he paired with Vita Marissa, winning several international tournaments together. After the end of his successful 2013 season, Badminton Association of Indonesia called him up to join the national team, partnering him with Debby Susanto.


Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo

Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo is an Indonesian badminton player. He is a doubles specialist from PB Djarum, a badminton club in Kudus, Central Java and has joined the club since 2007. He won the 2017 All England Open Superseries Premier with his current partner, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon. He and Gideon were awarded the 2017 BWF Best Male Players of the Year award after collecting seven Superseries titles in a year.


Lee Chong Wei

Datuk Lee Chong Wei is a retired Malaysian professional badminton player. As a singles player, Lee was ranked first worldwide for 199 consecutive weeks from 21 August 2008 to 14 June 2012. He is the fourth Malaysian player after Rashid Sidek, Roslin Hashim and Wong Choong Hann to achieve such a ranking, and is the only Malaysian shuttler to hold the number one ranking for more than a year.

Sudheer Babu

Sudheer Babu is an Indian film actor and former professional Badminton player. He primarily works in the Telugu film industry. Sudheer made his debut as a hero in the Telugu film industry with the film Shiva Manasulo Shruti. He is well known for his roles in Prema Katha Chitram and in Baaghi, where he played the antagonist in the latter. He launched his new home banner "Sudheer Babu Productions" recently.


Carolina Marín

Carolina María Marín Martín is a Spanish professional badminton player. She is the reigning Olympic Champion, three-time World Champion, four-time European Champion and the former World’s No. 1 in BWF rankings for the women's singles. She has become the World Champion in women's singles three times, winning in 2014, 2015 and 2018. She won her first Olympics gold medal in women's singles at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Jonatan Christie, also known by his nickname "Jojo", is an Indonesian badminton player. He is from PB. Tangkas Specs, a badminton club from Jakarta, capital city of Indonesia and plays in men's singles discipline.


Jwala Gutta

Jwala Gutta is a left-handed Indian badminton player. Born in Wardha to an Indian father and a Chinese mother, she began playing badminton at a young age. She is most successful doubles specialist from India, and has represented the country at the international circuit since the late 1990s till 2017. A fourteen-time National Champion, Gutta played with Shruti Kurien earlier in her career, but found greater international success with Ashwini Ponnappa. The pair consistently figured among the top-twenty in the BWF World Ranking reaching as high as no. 10 in 2015. Gutta is the first badminton player of Indian to qualify for two events in the Olympics–women's doubles with Ponnappa and mixed doubles with V. Diju at London. Gutta is known for her skilled left-handed stroke-play and is one of the very few doubles players to use a forehand service.

Lin Dan is a Chinese professional badminton player. He is a two-time Olympic champion, five-time World champion, as well as a six-time All England champion.


Chen Long

Chen Long, is a Chinese professional badminton player. He is the reigning Olympic champion and two-time World champion and All England champion.


Prakash Padukone

Prakash Padukone is a former Indian badminton player. He was ranked World No. 1 in 1980, the same year he became the first Indian to win the All England Open Badminton Championships. He was awarded the Arjuna award in 1972 and the Padma Shri in 1982 by the Government of India. He is one of the co-founders of Olympic Gold Quest, a foundation dedicated to the promotion of Olympic sports in India.


Tai Tzu-ying

Tai Tzu-ying is a Taiwanese professional badminton player. In 2011, she won the title of Taiwanese ranking competition when she was only 16 years and 6 months old, becoming the youngest No. 1 in Taiwanese badminton history. She became world No. 1 in women's singles on December 2016, age 22, and was ranked No.1 for 67 consecutive weeks till 5th August 2018.
