West Indies cricket team

The West Indies cricket team, colloquially known as and officially branded as the Windies, is a multi-national cricket team representing the Anglophone Caribbean region and administered by Cricket West Indies. A composite team, players are selected from a chain of 15 Caribbean territories, most of which are English-speaking Caribbean, which comprise several countries and dependencies. As of 24 June 2018, the West Indian cricket team is ranked ninth in the world in Tests, ninth in ODIs and seventh in T20Is in the official ICC rankings.

The Pakistan national cricket team, popularly referred to as the Shaheens, Green Shirts and Men in Green, is administered by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The team is a full member of the International Cricket Council, and participates in Test, ODI and Twenty20 International cricket matches.

New Zealand national cricket team

The New Zealand national cricket team, nicknamed the Black Caps, played their first Test in 1930 against England in Christchurch, becoming the fifth country to play Test cricket. From 1930 New Zealand had to wait until 1956, more than 26 years, for its first test victory, against the West Indies at Eden Park in Auckland. They played their first ODI in the 1972–73 season against Pakistan in Christchurch.

Nepal national cricket team

The Nepal national cricket team, also known as Cardiac Kids is governed by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). They have been an Associate Member of the International Cricket Council since 1996, having previously been an Affiliate Member since 1988. Nepal were awarded Twenty20 International (T20I) status by the ICC in June 2014 until the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier On 15 March 2018, Nepal gained One Day International (ODI) status for the first time, after winning the first playoff match in the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier.

Australia national cricket team

The Australia national cricket team is the joint oldest team in Test cricket history, having played in the first ever Test match in 1877. The team also plays One Day International cricket and Twenty20 International, participating in both the first ODI, against England in the 1970–71 season and the first Twenty20 International, against New Zealand in the 2004–05 season, winning both games. The team draws its players from teams playing in the Australian domestic competitions – the Sheffield Shield, the Australian domestic limited-overs cricket tournament and the Big Bash League.

Since 1 January 1997 it has been governed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), having been previously governed by Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) from 1903 until the end of 1996. England, as a founding nation, is a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test, One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) status.

Sri Lanka national cricket team

The Sri Lanka national cricket team, nicknamed The Lions, represents Sri Lanka in international cricket. It is a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test, One-Day International (ODI) and T20 International status. The team first played international cricket in 1926–27, and were later awarded Test status in 1982, which made Sri Lanka the eighth Test cricket playing nation. The team is administered by Sri Lanka Cricket. The current captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team in Test matches is Dinesh Chandimal. Angelo Mathews is the captain of the team in limited over versions.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore are a franchise cricket team based in Bangalore, Karnataka, that plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). One of the original eight teams in the IPL, the team has made three final appearances in the IPL, losing all. The team also finished runners-up in the 2011 CLT20, losing the final against the Mumbai Indians.

The Rangpur Riders are a professional cricket team based in Rangpur City, Rangpur. The Riders compete in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the premier cricket league in Bangladesh. The Riders are headquartered at the Bashundhara Residential Area in Dhaka. They use Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium for most home games.

India national under-19 cricket team

The Indian Under-19 cricket team represents the nation of India in cricket at Under-19 level. The team is currently captained by Prithvi Shaw and coached by former India cricketer Rahul Dravid. The Indian team has won four Under-19 World Cups. In 2000, they won it under the captaincy of Mohammad Kaif, in 2008, they won it under Virat Kohli's leadership, in 2012 under Unmukt Chand and in 2018 under Prithvi Shaw. The team also has the best win percentage in ODIs (77%) among all Under-19 national teams. In June 2016, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided that Indian players could only play in one under-19 World Cup tournament, regardless if they still meet the age criteria for another edition.

The Bangladesh national cricket team, nicknamed The Tigers, is administered by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). Bangladesh is a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test and One Day International (ODI) status. It played its first Test match in November 2000 against India in Dhaka, becoming the tenth Test-playing nation.
