Winged Foot Golf Club

Winged Foot Golf Club is a private club with two 18-hole golf courses located in Mamaroneck, New York. The course architect is A. W. Tillinghast, who also designed Baltusrol (Lower), Bethpage Black, Suburban Golf Club, Shackamaxon Country Club, Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio, San Francisco Golf Club, Cedar Crest Park, and nearby Quaker Ridge Golf Club, Scarboro Golf and Country Club in Toronto and Wykagyl Country Club. Winged Foot Golf Club was founded in 1921, by a consortium consisting mainly of members of The New York Athletic Club. The club gets its name and logo from the NYAC's logo, but the two have never had any direct affiliation. Winged Foot G.C. opened in June 1923. Application for membership is by invitation only.

It is a private club, and non-members can play only if invited and accompanied by a member.

Royal St George's Golf Club

The Royal St George's Golf Club located in Sandwich, Kent, England, a golf club in the United Kingdom and one of the courses on The Open Championship rotation and is the only Open rota golf course to be located in Southern England. It has hosted 13 Open championships since 1894, when it became the first club outside Scotland to host the championship. Past champions include Darren Clarke, Ben Curtis, Greg Norman, Sandy Lyle, Bill Rogers, Bobby Locke, Reg Whitcombe, Henry Cotton, Walter Hagen, Harry Vardon, Jack White and John Henry Taylor. It has also hosted The Amateur Championship on 13 occasions.

The Country Club

The Country Club, located in Brookline, Massachusetts, is the oldest country club in the United States. It holds an important place in golf history, as it is one of the five charter clubs that founded the United States Golf Association, and has hosted numerous USGA tournaments including the 1913 U.S. Open won by then-unknown Francis Ouimet. Today, the club has nearly 1300 members.

The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews is the oldest and most prestigious golf club in the world. It is based in St Andrews, Fife, Scotland, and is regarded as the worldwide "Home of Golf". Formerly, it was also one of the governing authorities of the game, but in 2004 this role was handed over to a newly formed group of companies, collectively known as The R&A.

It comprises three links golf courses, a golf academy, a five-star James Miller-designed hotel from 1906, along with lodge and cottage accommodations. The prominent rock island Ailsa Craig is visible to the southwest. The property has been owned by the Trump Organization since 2014.

Caves Valley Golf Club is a member-owned not-for-profit corporation in Owings Mills, Maryland, a suburb northwest of Baltimore. The golf course opened 27 years ago in 1991, and is known for its fast greens, rolling fairways, and water hazards; it was rated as 47th among America's best modern courses by Golfweek magazine in 1997.

A hybrid is a type of club used in the sport of golf with a design borrowing from both irons and woods while differing from both. The name "hybrid" comes from genetics to denote a mixture of two different species with desirable characteristics of both, and the term here has been generalized, combining the familiar swing mechanics of an iron with the more forgiving nature and better distance of a wood.

East Lake was the home course of golfer Bobby Jones and much of its clubhouse serves as a tribute to his accomplishments.
