The Philippine women's national volleyball team is the national volleyball team of the Philippines. The country is ranked 79 as of August 21, 2017. Its highest achievement was in 1974 when it qualified for the FIVB World Championship, where it placed 18th. It is governed by Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas (LVPI) since 2015.

Nebraska Cornhuskers women's volleyball

The Nebraska women's volleyball team was founded in 1975 and is one of the most decorated teams in all of women's volleyball, with more wins than any other program and five NCAA national championships, one of only three programs not on the west coast to have won a title. Since the induction of the CBS College Sports/AVCA National Poll in 1982, the Cornhuskers are one of only two programs in the country to be ranked in every poll and have produced 73 All-Americans. The Cornhuskers volleyball program is one of the most popular spectator attractions in Nebraska, as four of the largest crowds to ever watch a volleyball match were in the state.

China women's national volleyball team

The China women's national volleyball team represents the People's Republic of China in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Chinese Volleyball Association. They are one of the leading and most successful squads in women's international volleyball and a worshipful sports team in China, having won nine championships titles in the three major international competitions of volleyball, including World Cup four times, World Championship twice and Olympic Game titles three times. The current head coach is Lang Ping, executive coach is An Jiajie. The team now ranks the first place in the FIVB World Ranking.

Associazione Sportiva Volley Lube is a professional volleyball team based in Civitanova Marche, Italy. Since 1995 the club has been playing in the Serie A of the Italian Volleyball League. It won the Italian Championship four times, the Italian Cup five times, and the Italian SuperCup three-times.

The Brazil men's national volleyball team is governed by the Confederação Brasileira de Voleibol (Brazilian Volleyball Confederation) and takes part in international volleyball competitions. Brazil has three gold medals at the Olympic Games, won three times the World Championship and nine times the World League. Brazil is the #1 team on the FIVB World Rankings. The team is often referred to as volleyball's "Dream Team" due to its success under coach Bernardo Rezende.

VC Zenit-Kazan, until 2008 known as Dinamo Tattransgaz Kazan, is a professional men's volleyball team based in Kazan, Russia. It plays in the Super League. The team won the 2007–08, 2011–12, 2014–15, 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2017-18 CEV Champions League titles, thus being the most-titled club in its new history. As of November 2017, Kazan is ranked 1st in the Men's European clubs ranking.

Eczacıbaşı VitrA

Eczacıbaşı VitrA is the women's volleyball department of Eczacıbaşı S.K., a Turkish sports club based in Istanbul, Turkey. The team plays its home matches at the Eczacıbaşı Spor Salonu hall in Istanbul. Eczacıbaşı has won a record 17 Turkish League titles and a record eight Turkish Cups, amongst others. In the 2014–15 season they won the CEV Champions League and that gave them the ticket to capture the 2015 FIVB World Club Championship in Zürich, a year later the club became the first club in the world to win the FIVB World Club Championship back-to-back by defending their crown in the Philippines during the 2016 FIVB World Club Championship in Manila.

Wisconsin Badgers women's volleyball

The Wisconsin Badgers women's volleyball is the volleyball team representing the University of Wisconsin–Madison in the NCAA Division I women's program. The university has a rich volleyball tradition. They have had eleven head coaches since the team's inception in 1974. In 2000, under head coach Pete Waite, they appeared in the NCAA Division I Championship Match. In the 2007 season, they ranked third in attendance among all Division 1 volleyball programs, averaging 5,050 fans over 18 matches.

Minnesota Golden Gophers women's volleyball

Minnesota Golden Gophers volleyball is the NCAA Division I women's volleyball team at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. The program began its first season in 1972 under head coach Dee Jilek. Its current head coach is Hugh McCutcheon, who took over the team after the 2012 Olympics. Previous coach Mike Hebert had led the Golden Gophers to every NCAA Tournament, with the exception of 1998, when he was head coach of the team. His tenure was highlighted by back-to-back NCAA Final Four appearances in 2003 and 2004. Hebert also led Minnesota the program's first Big Ten title in 2002.
