Carl Lewis

Frederick Carlton "Carl" Lewis is an American former track and field athlete who won nine Olympic gold medals, one Olympic silver medal, and 10 World Championships medals, including eight gold. His career spanned from 1979 to 1996, when he last won an Olympic event. He is one of only three Olympic athletes who won a gold medal in the same individual event in four consecutive Olympic Games.

Tianna Bartoletta

Tianna Bartoletta is an American track and field athlete who specializes in the long jump and short sprinting events. She is a two-time Olympian with three gold medals. At the 2012 Summer Olympics she placed fourth in the 100m race then won her first gold by leading off the world record-setting 4 × 100 m relay team. At the 2016 Summer Olympics she won two more golds, first with a personal best to win the long jump then again leading off the victorious 4 × 100 m relay team.

C. B. Fry

Charles Burgess Fry, known as C. B. Fry, was an English sportsman, politician, diplomat, academic, teacher, writer, editor and publisher, who is best remembered for his career as a cricketer. John Arlott described him with the words: "Charles Fry could be autocratic, angry and self-willed: he was also magnanimous, extravagant, generous, elegant, brilliant – and fun ... he was probably the most variously gifted Englishman of any age."


Dianne Gerace

Dianne Roberta Gerace is a retired track athlete from Canada. She competed at the 1964 Olympics in the high jump and pentathlon and finished in 5th and 15th place, respectively. She won a silver medal in the high jump and finished sixth in the long jump at the 1963 Pan American Games. She is of Italian and Scottish descent.


Will Claye

Will Claye is an American track and field athlete of Sierra Leonean descent who competes in the long jump and triple jump. He won a bronze medal in 2011 World Championships in Athletics and the gold medals at the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships and 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships. In his Olympic debut at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Claye won a bronze medal in long jump and a silver medal in triple jump. He repeated his silver medal in the triple jump four years later. His personal best of 17.91 m (58 ft 9 in), set at the 2017 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, ranks him as the #9 triple jumper of all time.


Tori Bowie

Frentorish "Tori" Bowie was an American track and field athlete, who primarily competed in the long jump, 100 meters, and 200 meters. She won the silver medal in the 100 m and bronze in the 200 m at the 2016 Rio Olympics, bronze and gold in the 100 m at the 2015 and 2017 World Championships, respectively, and also earned gold medals as part of U.S. women's 4 × 100 m relays at both the 2016 Olympic Games and 2017 World Championships.

Ivana Vuleta is a Serbian long jumper, the 2023 World champion, a two-time World indoor champion, a two-time European champion, a three-time European indoor champion and a four-time Diamond League Trophy Winner. Considering her achievements and longevity, Ivana Vuleta is regarded as one of the best all-time female long jumpers, with her indoor 7.24m jump ranked 3rd in all-time records.


Galina Chistyakova

Galina Valentinovna Chistyakova is a retired athlete who represented the Soviet Union and later Slovakia. She is the current world record holder in the long jump, jumping 7.52 metres on 11 June 1988. She is the 1988 Olympic bronze medallist and the 1989 World Indoor champion. She is also a former world record holder in the triple jump with 14.52 metres in 1989.


Luvo Manyonga

Luvo Manyonga is a South African track and field athlete who specialises in the long jump. He holds a personal best of 8.65 m, set in 2017 in Potchefstroom. He was the Olympic silver medalist in 2016.

Brittney Reese

Brittney Reese is an American long jumper, Olympic gold medalist, and a seven-time world champion. Reese is the indoor American record holder in the long jump with a distance of 7.23 meters.


Jenna Prandini

Jenna Prandini is an American track and field athlete, known for sprinting, but originally began her career doing jumping events. She is the 2015 National Champion and 2018 National Champion at 200 meters. She preceded the National Championship completing her senior year at the University of Oregon winning the 100 meters at the 2015 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The previous year she had won the long jump. She also was a runner up in the 200 meters both years, runner up in the long jump in 2015 and third place in the 100 meters in 2014. Jenna is 2nd female to win NCAA 100 meters & National Outdoor 200 meters in the same year. Prandini qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics at 200 meters by placing third at the Olympic trials.


Juan Miguel Echevarría

Juan Miguel Echevarría is a Cuban athlete specialising in the long jump. He represented his country at the 2017 World Championships, narrowly missing the final. He later won a gold medal at the 2018 World Indoor Championships with a mark of 8.46 m.
