Miss International 2016, the 56th Miss International pageant, held on October 27, 2016 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Edymar Martínez from Venezuela crowned her successor Kylie Verzosa from the Philippines at the end of the event. This is the first time in Miss International history the crowning of the runners-up was to see last year’s Top 5 winners.

The pageant was originally scheduled to be held on November 7, 2009 at The Venetian Macao in Macau, but the host committee backed out. 65 contestants competed for the coveted title. Alejandra Andreu of Spain crowned Anagabriela Espinoza of Mexico as the new titleholder.

Jeymmy Vargas of Colombia crowned her successor Lara Quigaman of the Philippines as the new Miss International. She became the fourth Filipino to win the pageant.

Miss International 2008, the 48th Miss International pageant, was held on November 8, 2008 at The Venetian Macao in Macau,the presenters are Eric Tsang, Dodo Cheng, Astrid Chan. 63 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown, marking the biggest turnout in the 48 years of the pageant, surpassing the previous of 61 during last year pageant. The contestants also paid a visit to Hong Kong, Tokyo. Miss International 2007, Priscila Perales of Mexico, crowned her successor Alejandra Andreu of Spain as the new Miss International.

Miss International 1964, the 5th Miss International pageant, was held on August 14, 1964 at the Long Beach Municipal Auditorium, Long Beach, California, United States. 40 contestants competed in this pageant. Gemma Cruz from the Philippines was crowned the winner of the pageant by outgoing titleholder, Gudrun Bjarnadottir from Iceland. Cruz made history receiving the first Miss International title for the country and in Asia.
