Charité

The Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin is Europe's largest University clinic, affiliated with both Humboldt University and Freie Universität Berlin. With numerous Collaborative Research Centers (CRC) of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, including three Nobel Prize Laureates working as research fellows in the Einstein Foundation, Charité is one of Germany's most research-intensive medical institutions. For the past five years, Charité has been ranked by Focus as the best of over 1000 hospitals in Germany. More than half of all German Nobel Prize winners in Physiology or Medicine, including Emil von Behring, Robert Koch, and Paul Ehrlich came from the Charité. Its medical school is one of the most prestigious and competitive in Germany with admission rates lower than 5%.

Royal London Hospital

The Royal London Hospital is a large teaching hospital in London, United Kingdom. It is part of Barts Health NHS Trust. The Royal London provides district general hospital services for the City and Tower Hamlets and specialist tertiary care services for patients from across London and elsewhere. There are 675 beds, 110 wards and 26 operating theatres at the Royal London Hospital. The new building opened in February 2012.

St. Mary's Hospital

King's College Hospital

King's College Hospital is an acute care facility in Denmark Hill, Camberwell in the London Borough of Lambeth, referred to locally and by staff simply as "King's" or abbreviated internally to "KCH". It is managed by King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. It serves an inner city population of 700,000 in the London boroughs of Southwark and Lambeth, but also serves as a tertiary referral centre in certain specialties to millions of people in southern England. It is a large teaching hospital and is, with Guy's Hospital and St. Thomas' Hospital, the location of King's College London School of Medicine and one of the institutions that comprise the King's Health Partners, an academic health science centre. The interim chief executive is Peter Herring.

Royal Free Hospital

The Royal Free Hospital is a major teaching hospital in Hampstead, London. The hospital is part of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, which also runs services at Barnet General Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital and a number of other sites. The trust is a founder member of the UCL Partners academic health science centre.

Hahnemann University Hospital

Hahnemann University Hospital is a tertiary care center in Center City, Philadelphia and the Center City Philadelphia teaching hospital of Drexel University College of Medicine. Established in 1885, it was for most of its history the main teaching hospital associated with its namesake medical school, Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital, founded in 1848 and named for Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of the medical theory of homeopathy. Hahnemann University Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

The Toronto General Hospital (TGH) is a major teaching hospital in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and a part of the University Health Network. It is located in the Discovery District, directly north of The Hospital for Sick Children, across Gerrard Street West, and east of Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Mount Sinai Hospital, across University Avenue. All are steps from Queen's Park and the Queen's Park subway station. The hospital serves as a teaching hospital for the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine.

The Erasmus University Medical Center based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, affiliated with Erasmus University and home to its faculty of medicine, is the "largest and one of the most authoritative scientific University Medical Centers in Europe." Furthermore, the hospital is the largest of the eight university medical centers in the Netherlands, both in terms of turnover and number of beds. The Erasmus MC ranks #1 of the top European institution in clinical medicine and #20 in the world according to the Times Higher Education rankings.

John Radcliffe Hospital

The John Radcliffe Hospital is a large tertiary teaching hospital in Oxford, England and a leading centre for medical research. It is the main teaching hospital for Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University, and incorporates the Oxford University Medical School. It forms part of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is named after John Radcliffe, an 18th-century physician and Oxford University graduate, who endowed the Radcliffe Infirmary, the main hospital for Oxford from 1770 until 1979.
