The Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin is Europe's largest University clinic, affiliated with both Humboldt University and Freie Universität Berlin. With numerous Collaborative Research Centers (CRC) of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, including three Nobel Prize Laureates working as research fellows in the Einstein Foundation, Charité is one of Germany's most research-intensive medical institutions. For the past five years, Charité has been ranked by Focus as the best of over 1000 hospitals in Germany. More than half of all German Nobel Prize winners in Physiology or Medicine, including Emil von Behring, Robert Koch, and Paul Ehrlich came from the Charité. Its medical school is one of the most prestigious and competitive in Germany with admission rates lower than 5%.

Hahnemann University Hospital

Hahnemann University Hospital is a tertiary care center in Center City, Philadelphia and the Center City Philadelphia teaching hospital of Drexel University College of Medicine. Established in 1885, it was for most of its history the main teaching hospital associated with its namesake medical school, Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital, founded in 1848 and named for Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of the medical theory of homeopathy. Hahnemann University Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

King's College Hospital

King's College Hospital is an acute care facility in Denmark Hill, Camberwell in the London Borough of Lambeth, referred to locally and by staff simply as "King's" or abbreviated internally to "KCH". It is managed by King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. It serves an inner city population of 700,000 in the London boroughs of Southwark and Lambeth, but also serves as a tertiary referral centre in certain specialties to millions of people in southern England. It is a large teaching hospital and is, with Guy's Hospital and St. Thomas' Hospital, the location of King's College London School of Medicine and one of the institutions that comprise the King's Health Partners, an academic health science centre. The interim chief executive is Peter Herring.
