'Hello, Dolly!' returns to Broadway

Hello, Dolly! is a musical with lyrics and music by Jerry Herman and a book by Michael Stewart, based on Thornton Wilder's 1938 farce The Merchant of Yonkers. The 2017 Broadway revival opened at the Shubert Theatre. The production was directed by Jerry Zaks, with the title role portrayed by Bette Midler.

'Violet' opens at the American Airlines Theatre

Violet is a musical with music by Jeanine Tesori and libretto by Brian Crawley based on the short story "The Ugliest Pilgrim" by Doris Betts. 'Sister Act' opens in New York at the Broadway Theatre

Sister Act is a musical based on the hit film of the same name with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner, and additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane.
