Temple Mount shooting

Three Arab-Israeli men opened fire on Israeli border police officers stationed near the Temple mount gate of the tribes which is near to the Lions' Gate. Two Israeli border police officers were killed and two more were injured in the attack. All three attackers were shot and killed by Israeli police after fleeing back into the complex.

Hurghada attack

Abdel-Rahman Shaaban, a former university student from the Nile Delta region, swam from a public beach to each of two resort hotel beaches at Hurghada on the Red Sea and stabbed five German, one Armenian and one Czech tourists, all women, killing two German women.

Marco Polo condo fire

The Marco Polo condo fire was a high-rise fire that occurred an the 36-story Marco Polo condominum building in the McCully-Mōʻiliʻili neighborhood of Honolulu, Hawaii. 4 people were killed, and 13 others were injured. Over 200 units were damaged or destroyed[a] giving the destruction of the building at more than $100 million.

Nice terrorist attack

A 19-tonne cargo truck was deliberately driven into crowds of people celebrating Bastille Day on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, France, resulting in the deaths of 86 people and the injury of 458 others. The driver was Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, a Tunisian resident of France.

Hurricane Claudete

Hurricane Claudette was the third tropical storm and first hurricane of the 2003 Atlantic hurricane season. The hurricane caused two deaths and moderate damage in Texas, mostly from strong winds, as well as extensive beach erosion. Because of the damage, President George W. Bush declared portions of South Texas a Federal Disaster Area.
