Würzburg train attack

Afghan refugee Riaz Khan Ahmadzai attacked and injured four people, two critically, on a train near Würzburg in Germany. A fifth person was injured outside. The attacker was a 17-year-old asylum seeker, armed with a knife and hatchet. The state office of criminal investigations called it a terrorist attack with an Islamist religious motive.

Shooting of Almaty police officers

Ruslan Kulikbayev, a 26-year-old Salafi Jihadist and ex-convict, shot and killed 10 people, including 8 police officers and 2 civilians, at a police station in Almaty, Kazakhstan before being apprehended in a chase and shootout with law enforcement.

Attack at Burgas Airport

The 2012 Burgas bus bombing was a terrorist attack carried out by a suicide bomber on a passenger bus transporting Israeli tourists at the Burgas Airport in Bulgaria in July 2012. The bus was carrying 42 Israelis, mainly youths, from the airport to their hotels, after arriving on a flight from Tel Aviv.
