Tesla introduces its all-electric semi truck

The Tesla Semi is an all-electric semi truck. A semi truck is the combination of a tractor unit and one or more semi-trailers to carry freight. The heavy truck program is led by Jerome Guillen, the President of Vehicle Programs, as he already has experience with being in charge of the Freightliner Cascadia semi truck.

Apple announces year-on-year decline in revenues

Since 2001, it was the 1st time Apple's annual sales or profits declined. The fall in sales was mostly caused by decreased sales of the iPhone, which is Apple's most important product and accounts for two-thirds of all sales.

Boeing 707 makes first commercial flight

The Boeing 707 is an American mid-sized, mid- to long-range, narrow-body, four-engine jet airliner built by Boeing Commercial Airplanes Pan American World Airways began regular 707 service in 1958. Later derivatives included the shortened long-range 707-138, "hot and high" 707-220 and the stretched 707-320, all of which entered service in 1959.

The Republic of Vietnam was proclaimed with Ngô Đình Diệm as its first president. Its sovereignty was recognized by the United States and eighty-seven other nations.
