Two-part finale of 'Timeless' airs on NBC

Although NBC canceled the series after one season, three days later, following negotiations with Sony Pictures Television, NBC renewed the series for a ten-episode second season. In 2018 the series was canceled again by NBC. In July, NBC announced it had ordered a two-part finale to conclude the series named "The Miracle of Christmas".

Funky Drummer is recorded

Funky Drummer is a jam session recorded by James Brown and his band. The recording's drum break, a propulsive beat improvised by Clyde Stubblefield, is one of the most frequently sampled rhythmic breaks in hip-hop and popular music. The song was recorded in Cincinnati, Ohio, and originally released by King Records as a two-part 45 rpm single in March 1970.

The popular Christmas movie is first released

It's a Wonderful Life is an American Christmas fantasy comedy-drama film produced and directed by Frank Capra, based on the short story "The Greatest Gift", which Philip Van Doren Stern wrote in 1939 and published privately in 1945. It's a Wonderful Life premiered at the Globe Theatre in New York to mixed reviews.
